Help Us Welcome Students Back to Campus This Fall!

Dear Friends of UKirk,

As the summer winds down, we’re beginning to gear up for the start of another academic year at Middle Tennessee State University. Before long, the campus will be buzzing with new students, familiar faces, and all the energy that comes with a fresh start.

We at UKirk are preparing to welcome students back with open arms—and we’d love for you to partner with us in two important ways:

1. Thursday Night Meals

Thursday Nights at UKirk
Thursday Nights at UKirk

Our Thursday Night Gatherings are the heartbeat of our ministry, offering food, fellowship, and faithful conversation to students each week. We’re looking for churches and individuals willing to provide a home-cooked or store-bought meal (enough for 10–15 people, maybe more!) this fall. Whether you cook it yourself, cater from a local spot, or donate funds toward a meal, your support helps create a space where students feel nourished physically and spiritually.

2. Workday Help – Saturday, August 23rd 8-10am!

To ensure our building is clean, welcoming, and ready for students, we’re hosting our annual UKirk Workday. We need helping hands for jobs like weeding, trimming, mulching, and pressure washing. Whether you’re handy with a rake or a power washer, or just willing to pitch in wherever needed, we’d love to have your help.

Your continued support through prayer, presence, and partnership makes ministry at UKirk possible. Thank you for all the ways you’ve helped us be a home away from home for students.

Gratefully,

Rev. Micah Watson
